1. Carroll Birchell COSLOW
was born on Nov 15 1940 in Willisburg KY. -Actually, it was about 2-3 miles
from Willisburg on the Springfield Road (then Star Route #2, now Highway 555)
at what was then called the "Grider Place" -- now it's the "Sparrow
Place" on Sparrow Lane. He was educated Harrodsburg High School in 1958.
He served in the military between 1962 and 1986 in USAF/USAFR. He was an Attorney
in 1970. He was educated University of Kentucky 1962 (B.A.); 1970 (J.D.). He
Kentucky Colonel. -Active duty, U.S.A.F. (1962-1967): Navigator, Search-and-Rescue
Coordinator; aircrewmember on: T-29, C-47, C-54, C-118, C-119G, C-123J, and C-124A/C.
Served at James Connolly AFB TX, Travis AFB CA, and Elmendorf AFB AK.
-Private pilot (ASEL).
-Attorney; Kentucky State Bar admission in 1970.
-Lt. Col., USAFR (ret. Mar 1, 1986); Senior Navigator, Judge Advocate. Served
at: Clinton Co. AFB OH; Lockbourne AFB OH; Lowry AFB CO; Lindsay AS, Germany;
and Sembach AB, Germany.
-Attorney-Advisor (Federal contract law and fiscal law) for U.S. Air Force, U.S.
Army, and Dept. of Defense (1970-1995); Associate General Counsel, Defense Finance
and Accounting Service (DFAS) (ret. May 31, 1995). Employed at Wright-Patterson
AFB OH; Air Force Accounting and Finance Center (Denver CO); U.S. Army Contracting
Agency-Europe (Frankfurt, Germany); and DFAS-Denver Center.
