PA.⁽⁵⁰⁵⁾⁽⁵⁰⁶⁾⁽⁵⁰⁷⁾ Quaker O.S. date He emigrated between 1785 and 1788 from KY.⁽⁵⁰⁸⁾ He Disowned by the Society of Friends on Feb 14 1788.⁽⁵⁰⁹⁾ He died on Nov 22 1819 in Harrodsburg KY.⁽⁵¹⁰⁾⁽⁵¹¹⁾ He served in the military Revolutionary War in Continental Army.⁽⁵¹²⁾⁽⁵¹³⁾ 8th Btn, 5th Reg't, Co. C., Pa. Line He was Quaker. Sampson was disowned for deserting Elizabeth Jackson and their children. He reportedly left them in Chester Co. PA, went to Mercer Co. KY, and married Elizabeth Lessinger. He was married to Elizabeth LESSENGER in 1789 in KY.⁽⁵¹⁴⁾

77. Elizabeth LESSENGER⁽⁵¹⁵⁾ was born on Feb 2 1769 in NJ.⁽⁵¹⁶⁾⁽⁵¹⁷⁾ Parents possible -- Pam Carey Durstock's database has her b. ca 1764. She was christened on Mar 9 1769 in Racoon and Penn's Neck NJ.⁽⁵¹⁸⁾⁽⁵¹⁹⁾ Swedish Lutheran (later Trinity Protestant Episcopal Church of Swedesboro); Hance and Elizabeth Blumer, sponsors. She died on Apr 13 1854 in Mercer Co. KY.⁽⁵²⁰⁾ -Susannah??

i. Daniel Boone WICKERSHAM⁽⁵²¹⁾ was born on Jun 3 1788 in Harrodsburg KY.⁽⁵²²⁾⁽⁵²³⁾⁽⁵²⁴⁾ Another credible source gives his DOB as Jun 30, 1790, nr Harrodsburg KY. He Moved to: Parke Co. IN about 1822. He Moved to: Marion Co. AR about 1842.⁽⁵²⁵⁾ Daniel came to Marion Co. AR on horseback in 1842, bought a mill on Mill Creek south of Yellville. He returned to IN and brought back son Jesse and another hand; in 1848 he brought the rest of the family. His mill was on the site of an old Indian village. He died on Feb 19 1863 in Yellville AR.⁽⁵²⁶⁾⁽⁵²⁷⁾ Murdered by bushwhackers who tried to extort money from him. They hanged him from a tree in his nightshirt to make him tell where his money was hidden. He refused to tell, and the robbers went into the house after his wife. He managed to free hinself, at which point the robbers shot him in the bowels. He crawled through snow to the house of Col. Eli Dotson, a mile away, where he died. He was a Miller; blacksmith; wagon maker; still operator. He was buried in Wickersham Cemetery, Yellville AR. Daniel was considered a good man because he would trade one bushel of shelled corn for one gallon of pure corn whiskey.
