7440. Estienne CHASTAIN Moved to: Charost, Province de Berri, France in 1572.(1785) Fled Bourges after the St. Bartholomew's Day massacre of the Huguenots (24 Aug 1572). He was elected/appointed Notaire, Charost, France between 1597 and 1604. (1786) Estienne may have been Jacque's grandfather, rather than his father. Children were:
