Sr.(1659) was born about 1650
in England.(1660) He immigrated in
1654 to Boston MA.(1661) Arrived on
the Endeavour from southern England with his parents; they moved to Brookhaven,
L.I. NY the following year. He was elected/appointed Overseer, Brookhaven NY
between 1673 and 1677. He died in Oyster Bay, L.I. NY.
(1662) Probably. He was Presbyterian. "The Richard Waring who
married a daughter of Robt. Akerly was first identified in public records as
'Sr.' in the 2 Jan. 1696 deed of land from Richard Waren, Sr. to his son, Richard
Waren, Jr." He was married to Lydia ? AKERLY about 1671 in Brookhaven,
Long Island NY.(1663) The family surname
was consistently spelled "Waring" in the Brookhaven records, but began
to vary by 1695 in the Oyster Bay records. Thereafter, it appears as "Waren"
in about half the records.

Jan 28 1748/49.(1666) He died on Aug
5 1749 in Norwalk CT.(1667) He was
buried in Rowayton Ave., Rowayton CT.(1668)

(1669) He died on Feb 16 1726 in Stamford CT.
