464. Guillaume (William) SALLÉ Sr.⁽⁴⁰⁾⁽⁴⁰⁾ was born in 1705 in Manakintown VA. LDS Ancestral File 416F gives birth in 1720. He died on Feb 15 1789 in Buckingham Co. VA.⁽¹²⁵⁵⁾ -Aka Sally/Sallie.
-William donated supplies for the Revolutionary War effort.
-The Douglas Register lists the births of his children. He was married to Marie Magdelaine CHASTAIN in 1740 in Manakintown VA.⁽¹²⁵⁶⁾

465. Marie Magdelaine CHASTAIN⁽¹²⁵⁷⁾ was born about 1720 in Manakintown VA.⁽¹²⁵⁸⁾ ⁽¹²⁵⁹⁾ She died between 1803 and 1810 in Buckingham Co. VA.⁽¹²⁶⁰⁾ On 5/28/1750, she and Guillaume sold 115 acres she had inherited from Peter Chastain Sr. to David LeSeuer, the land located in Dale and King William Parish, Goochland and Chesterfield Counties. Children were:

i. Isaac SALLÉ was born on Apr 22 1741 in Manakintown VA.⁽¹²⁶¹⁾ He was living in 1810 in Buckingham Co. VA.⁽¹²⁶²⁾ -Godfather: "His father" and Jean Chastain; Godmother: Charlotte Chastain.
-His original land grant was 333 acres, was 1270 acres in 1782, and 1261acres after 1790.
-Described as "being quite wealthy with a big house and many slaves."

[Bruce Sallee <phoenix2@indy.net> on 1/31/2000 has his birth as 1734 VA and married to Elizabeth Brian. He says this is based on Floyd Bolton's research material.]

ii. Pierre (Peter) SALLÉ was born on Jul 13 1743 in Manakintown VA.⁽¹²⁶³⁾ He was living in 1800 in Lincoln Co. KY.⁽¹¹²⁹⁾ He died in 1820 in TN. Possibly buried in Athens TN -Lived in Charlotte Co. VA in 1769.
-On the 1790 census in Salesbury district NC with 5 sons and 4 daughters.
-Bought 400 acres in Surrey Co. NC in 1782.
-Sold land in NC in 1790.
-On the tax 1800 list of Lincoln Co. KY.
-May have had more than one wife (?) Margaret (?).
iii. Jean (John) SALLÉ was born on Nov 2 1745 in Manakintown VA.⁽¹²⁶⁴⁾ Godfather: Abraham Salle' and Jean Chastain (fils); Godmother: Elizabeth LeSueur.

vi. Abraham SALLÉ was born about 1753 in Manakintown VA.⁽¹²⁶⁷⁾ He died after 1787.⁽¹²⁶⁸⁾ Not listed by Jack Bailey.
vii. George SALLÉ was born about 1760 in Manakintown VA.⁽¹²⁶⁹⁾ He died after 1788.⁽¹²⁷⁰⁾ Not listed by Jack Bailey.
viii. Stephen SALLÉ was born about 1764 in Manakintown VA.⁽¹²⁷¹⁾ He died after 1850 in Madison Co. KY.⁽¹²⁷²⁾ Not listed by Jack Bailey.
