The Wm Brown jr receive d this land from Wm Balthrop that marks the original patent between Wil liam Brown Sr, William Balthrop and Daniel White. Daniel & Elizabeth Wh ite signed the land transfer dated 1677. It is referenced that William m ay have been born as early as 4 July 1620 in Old Rappahannock Co., VA. a nd that his wife Elizabeth may have been born as early as 1620 in Hanov er Parish, King George Co., VA.
The will of William Browne names friend Evan Morgan Executor and wi fe Elizabeth his executrix. The will of William divided his land betwee n his three sons William, Maxfield and John. This land corresponds with t he land purchased by John Willis Sr. on 27 January 1687/88.
