Joseph Adams (1796-1871) & Sarah Wood (1804-1845) Joseph Adams, the son of a British Gunner, emigrated from Armagh/Monaghan Ireland in 1813. He was born at sea while his parents were moving to Ireland from England. Joseph married Sarah (Sally) (about 1821) to begin a family of twelve. Sally, the daughter of Roger Wood UEL and the grand-daughter of Jonas Wood UEL, was born in Osnabruck Tp., Stormont Co., Ontario.
