to manhood in Center Creek, Ut. where he went to school and
helped his father on the farm. In later years he and his father and
brother, Bennett, raised sheep. Their lambs were shipped to Kansas
City and they always received top market price for them. When his
sons Bruce and Frank went to California, he sold his interests to his
brother, Bennett, and moved west. He worked with his sons in the
contracting business until his retirement.

She was an
industrious woman. She was a faithful visitor to folks who were
unable to leave their home. Her hands were always busy. She was
dependable member of the 3rd Ward Relief Society quilting group. She
and her sisters did alot of paper hanging for different ones in the
community.
