We are researching the Barber family that came from Connecticut, Rhode Island, Central New York, Vermont. Primarily, Seventh Day Baptists, they tended to marry Potter, Babcock, Maxson, Burdick, and Noyes. We know that that ancestors went to west to Wisconsin and Iowa, for example.
We started with family records and have added generously from other genealogists on the Web. This has been a combined project with my sister Barb who is an expert in finding things at the library in Rochester, NY. It is a great location as our family passed that way.
