FIFTH GENERATION

24. Enrico MARCONI I was born before 1883 in Italy. He died after 1910 in Italy. He was married to Unknown UNKNOWN before 1893 in Italy. There were only two sons from this marriage and no daughters. (Source: Interview of Fred Marconi by Win Apel, Nov. 30, 1994.)

25. Unknown UNKNOWN (29) died after 1940 in Italy. She was born in Italy. In about 1937-38 her son, Enrico, purchased a farm in Italy for her to live on, which she did. When her grandson, John, visited her in Italy during World War II he was almost shot by his cousins (her grandsons) because they thought he had come to take the farm back. The farm was later sold, perhaps after she died, and the family moved to Rome. Another grandson, Fred, was unable to locate any of the family during a visit to Rome in 1975 because there were too many Marconis in the phone book and because of the family's suspicion that he had come to get the money from the sale of the farm.
