According to Margaret Dalton, Sophie's name was pronounced "SO FIE' A", she was blind in her old age, smoked a clay pipe, and lived at the farm in North Pine Grove, PA, until she died. Margaret Dalton spelled the name "Sophia" but her tombstone says "Sophie". Children were:
