Adam (Albert) GUENTNER ⁽¹⁹²⁾ was born on May 19 1816 in Bohemia, Germany (?). ⁽⁵⁵⁾ He died on Aug 17 1889 in LaCrosse, WI (?). ⁽⁵⁵⁾ Albert Guentner and his wife Elizabeth, with his family, came to America from Egere, Bohemia. They settled for a time in Sharpsburg, PA, and then moved to La Crosse, WI. Their daughters Anna and Josefa (Josephine) married and lived in Pittsburgh, PA. Wendelin Guentner raised his family in La Crosse, WI. Gallus (Louis) was a sailor and later settled in Milwaukee, WI.

Margaret Guentner, the oldest child, was the first of her family to come to America. Her passport is dated May 3, 1870. She lived in a German settlement in Sharpsburg, PA, and after expressing a wish to return to Bohemia, was asked by her parents to stay, and the rest of the family then joined her in America.

Elizabeth KRAUSE ⁽⁷⁾ was born on Jan 21 1832 in Bohemia, Germany (?). ⁽⁵⁵⁾ She died on Sep 25 1914 in LaCrosse, WI (?). ⁽⁵⁵⁾ Margarent Guentner, the oldest child, was the first of her family to come to America.
