Elizabeth, wife of Jacob Fiscus born about 1784, was born before 1788
in PA.
She died after 1805. "I found a reference to your online family tree
via an email I received in May. I finally looked at your tree this afternoon.
I suspect that the "Elizabeth Unknown" (ID 1221) may well be Elizabeth
McClain (McLain, McLaine), daughter of Paul and Catherine McLaine. The only
information I have on Elizabeth is that she was married to "Fiscus."
I have no birth date on Elizabeth, but given her father's death in 1822, she
could be the correct age. Elizabeth McLaine lived in the same area of western
Pennsylvania as your Jacob, and the research I have inherited that was done by
my aunt, a meticulous genealogist, shows her husband as "Fiscus."
Altho McLaine and Fiscus were not uncommon names in that neck of the
woods, it seems highly likely to me that Elizabeth unknown and unknown Fiscus
are Elizabeth McLaine and Jacob Fiscus." -- Clark.
