62. George Washington SHARROW ^{(343) (344)} was born in 1844.⁽³⁴⁴⁾ Date. He died in 1881.^{(345) (346)} George Sharrow died before Anna Margaret Dalton was born in 1908, but after his last child was born. He died very young, and he died before his wife moved to Buffalo, NY. Died before 1888, when Anna Margaret Dalton's parents were married.

George Washington Sharrow's tombstone gives date of death as 1881, thus dying at the age of 37. Because of the dates on the tombstone, and the fact that he does not appear to be buried with his wife, which are consistent with what else is known of George Sharrow, the one in St. Mary's Cemetery appears to be the wife of Margaret Hefren. George Sharrow was probably born and raised in North Pine Grove, where he met and married Margaret Hefren. He was probably a farmer. -- Margaret Dalton.

There is a George Washington Sharrow buried in the cemetery in Crown, PA, who is probably this George Sharrow. No other source gives his middle name. This one was born in 1844 and died in 1881. The death date is consistent with Anna Margaret's recollection, which was that he died before her parents were married in 1888. -- Tombstone.
Of George Sharrow and Margaret Hefren's kids, Mary Ellen was oldest child. Rose second, and then the boys.

63. Margaret HEFREN^{(347) (348)} was born in 1848 in Clarion Co., PA. ⁽³⁴⁸⁾ A Margaret Dalton was born in Clarion, PA, in 1848, whose parents were Ferry Hefren and Magdalena Walley. -- Familysearch.com.
She died after 1924 in Buffalo, NY.⁽⁴¹⁾ Died between 1924 and 1934. Margaret Hefren moved to Buffalo, NY after George Sharrow, her husband, died. She probably moved to Buffalo because one of her sons (of which there are at least four) probably got a job there. -- Margaret Dalton.

A Margaret Dalton was born in Clarion, PA, in 1848, whose parents were Ferry Hefren and Magdalena Walley. -- Familysearch.com.

ii. Rose SHARROW was born after 1856. Father was born in 1844, and thus this child had to be born after at least 1856. Burt(?) Joyce and his wife, Rose Sharrow, lived in Buffalo, NY. iii. Steve SHARROW was born after 1856. Father was born in 1844, and thus this child had to be born after at least 1856. Steve Sharrow, son of George Sharrow and Minne [Doe], was a very large man. iv. Frank SHARROW was born after 1856. Father was born in 1844, and thus this child had to be born after at least 1856. Frank Sharrow, son of George Sharrow and Margaret Hefren, lived in Buffalo, NY. v. Bill SHARROW was born after 1856. Father was born in 1844, and thus this child had to be born after at least 1856. Bill Sharrow, son of George Sharrow and Margaret Hefren, was the black sheep of the family. Never married. vi. James Augustus (Gust) SHARROW⁽³⁴⁰⁾ was born in 1867.^{(349) (340)} The father of James A. Sharrow was born in 1844, and thus he had to be born after at least 1856.

J. Augustus Sharrow was older than Mary Ellen Sharrow, who was born in 1869.

There is a James A. Sharrow tombstone showing birth date in 1867. This is consistent with the above, especially because it says his wife is Margaret. He died in 1952.^{(350) (351)} Gust Sharrow had to have died after 1937 because he was identified by Rosella Fiscus in a photograph that was taken in 1937.

James A. Sharrow died in 1952. James A. Sharrow is the name on the tombstone that probably belongs to J. Augustus Sharrow.
