I am researching both my own family tree and that of my husband. On my side of the family my research so far has centred in the Angus area, where my Dad's family come from. The names I am searching for include Duncan, Clyne, Davidson, Milne and Nicoll, all around the Montrose area.
On the other side of the family I have Weirs in the Milngavie, Strathblane area, Macfarlanes in Aberfoyle, and Thomsons,Bairds and Barrs in Lanarkshire.
My husband's side of the family are from Cromarty, so I'm looking for Bains there, also Craigie from Orkney, Melroses, Sadlers and Hoeys in Glasgow
