John Misenar and his family moved to Ohio in the mid 1830's. The 1840 Ohio census shows them living in Richland, Ohio. The 1850 Michigan census shows the family at Bethel Township in Branch County Michigan.
Some Genealogists say they came from Germany in the early 1700's to New Jersey. From there they went to New York, Canada, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Ill. and south and west.
He had a farm near Bethel, Branch, Michigan. He was a farmer.
