This is a story of the Albinus Misner Family:
In 1897 Albinus and his family left Branch County, Michigan, in a covered wagon. He had covered the wagon with cloth over wooden bows. It took them 5 days to reach Edmore, Montcalm, Michigan, their destination. Once there, Albinus traded their horse and buggy with harness for a house and lot.

Albinus's wife (Alta Janette Strong) shortened their name from Misener to Misner for Misner.
