17. Robert Allen BANDY (photo) was born on 7 Oct 1960 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He graduated Mayo High School in Jun 1979 in Rochester, MN. He college North Central Bible College from 1980 to 1982 in Minneapolis, MN.

For Bob, life's challenges have created opportunity for growth rather than burdens to bear. When he started school he was clearly behind, probably a residual effect of the nearly fatal pneumonia he had as an infant. Bob learned quickly to apply himself to the challenge and by high school was taking advanced math and eventually earned a BS degree in Math Education. Bob is a man of very high moral character which is clearly demonstrated by his standards as a husband and father.

When Bob was in third grade his teacher said he had a mind like Einstein who couldn't find his car keys, but was a genius in science and math.

He was married to Amy ELWOOD (daughter of Robert ELWOOD and Rosemarie TRUMAN) on 27 Jun 1981 in Rochester, MN.
[Peter - father] Bob and Amy have been devoted to each other from the start and their love works. Bob obviously delights in his role as the man of his family as Amy delights in being a mom.
Amy ELWOOD (photo) was born on 16 Apr 1963 in Rapid City, SD. Her father bought a new truck on the day she was born.

Amy is the right person for Bob. Together they have managed to meet life's chalenges and grow through them. The gifts of the Spirit certainly are demonstrated in these two.
