When Kim was about a year old, on hot summer days, she liked to go outside and
take off all her clothes, laying them neatly on the porch. She has always had
a mind of her own and once set, is not easily changed. I have been both proud
and frustrated by her independence. Still, she has learned to keep her clothes
on!

I am proud that Kim has learned to balance independence and dependence so well.
She is a wonderful warm and loving person.
