2. Jane BANDY (photo) was born on 21 Mar 1931 in Nashville, TN. She received a degree in a BA Degree from the University of Wisconsin about 1953 in Madison, WI. She student at the New England Conservatory of Music from 1954 to 1955 in Boston, MA.

The large snow flakes accumulated silently in the dark Christmas Eve night outside the nearly finished Westminster Presbyterian Church in Madison. Inside, the smell of fresh concrete and evergreens, folding chairs, and a makeshift stage, and a Christmas experience I shall never forget. My sister Jane sang "Oh Holy Night". I was incredibly moved. I have never heard it done better by anyone.

Jane is harmony - dispite the intrusion of three small sisters she was able to keep her sweaters neatly foulded in the dresser and her sense of humor and affection intact. With Burr she lived a duet and composed a beautiful family. Her commitment to learning and teaching spans the familiaal, political and social. Jane teaches as you don't have to be hard to be strong, you don't have to be loud to be heard.

She was married to Burr MCWILLIAMS on 15 Sep 1956 in Madison, WI. Burr MCWILLIAMS (photo) was born on 26 Apr 1931 in Madison, WI. He died in Dec 1992 in Northfield, MN. Jane BANDY and Burr MCWILLIAMS had the following children:
