BANDY was born about 1750. He died about Nov 1815. He has reference

Richard and wife, Jane, sell land in Botetourt Cty VA.
{60} Says on 12Sep1806 Ruth Bandy signs as surety for marriage of Sally
Bandy and Edward Brown.
{1661} Some interpret this as Ruth being Richard's second wife. We do not
believe this is so. In the original {533} the body of the bond
definitely names Richard Bandy, not Ruth. The surety signature looks
like "Rich..." to us with the "..." standing for something
that was
there but now unreadable because of deterioration of the document at
a fold. Neglecting the "..." one could possibly interpret the
signature as "Ruth".
33. Jane has reference
number GN(16-0370). {925} and some {796 suggest she is the Jane Cummins who
was b in Dublin,
Ireland.
{1552} Thus, this Jane and her husband, Richard, could have been the
"Richard/Jane" of the family tradition. This Richard could have been
born in Liverpool (as the tradition says) and come to VA with his
parents, but because of this Richard's 1815 death.
{791} .
{1552} it is highly improbable that he and Jane were old enough to marry in
1740 (as the tradition continues). Children were:
