He was buried on 28 Nov 1992 in Barnett Ridge, Barlow Township, Washington County, Ohio in the Barnett Ridge Cemetery. Services were held at the Barnett Ridge Wesleyan Church at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday November 28, 1992 by Rev. Charles Baum. Arrangements were made by Hillis Funeral Home at 935 Forest Avenue Zanesville, Ohio. He belonged to the Union Tabernacle Church.

He was married to Sara Ellen ADAMS (daughter of Lawrence Garfield ADAMS and Clara Velva PARSONS) on 21 Apr 1946. Sara Ellen ADAMS was born on 8 Jul 1921 in Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio. She died on 22 Nov 1994 in Bethesda Hospital, Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio. She was buried on 26 Nov 1994 in Barnett Ridge, Barlow Township, Washington County, Ohio in the Barnett Ridge Cemetery. She belonged to the Hands of Faith Church. Charles Daniel MAYLE and Sara Ellen ADAMS had the following children:
