637. Albert E. "Chink" WATIKER Jr. was born on 16 May 1938 in Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio. He died on 16 Sep 1992 in Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio. He was a foreman at the Essex Wire plant from 1966 through September 24, 1972. He was owner and president of Watiker and Son Inc. and widely considered as one of the top minority business (non-white) enterprises in the nation. He was the first Equal Employment Opportunity contract compliance officer for the City of Zanesville, appointed during 1972. A position he held for three years. Albert held the same position with the State of Ohio for nine years. He belonged to the Greater Apostolic Church of Christ. He was buried in Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

He was married to Rachel A. CARNES (daughter of Leonard W. CARNES and Iva L. DALTON) on 6 Sep 1958. Albert E. "Chink" WATIKER Jr. and Rachel A. CARNES had the following children:
