He died on 9 Apr 1961 in Sheltering Arms Hospital, Athens County, Athens, Ohio. He was buried on 11 Apr 1961 in Hebbardsville, Ohio in the Alexander Cemetery. He received undertaking services from Jagers & Sons Funeral Home 34 North Congress Street Athens, Ohio. Live West of Athens, Ohio for much of his life.
