Adam MALE (son of James MALE I and Rebecca MALE) was born in 1820 in the Common Wealth of Virginia. He died after 1904 in Washington County, Ohio. John Kennedy's Civil War National Archives Pension Records by Jerry Barker Devol:

WITNESSES: Adam Male, age 83 in 1904, resided in Dunham Township, Vincent P.O., retired farmer. "Knew soldier from the time he was a chunk of a boy up until he died. It has been about 23 years (1881) since I moved to Cuba, Jackson County, West Virginia, and lived a close neighbor. Was a second cousin to the soldier and was slightly related to Mrs. Elizabeth Kennedy. Mary Ann HILL and Adam MALE had the following children:
