William de Warenne of Wormgay and Hawise de Lanvallei, and grand son of WILLIAM DE LANVALLEI, Magna Charta sureyt, 1215, --- (Weis 94-29--) (CP V 347). (1) Devorquilla, wife of Sir Robert Fitz Walter; (2) Hawise, wife of Sir Robertde Grelley; (3) Margery, a nun. (CP V 437). Weis 94-29.
"Sir John de Burgh was the eldest son, but did not inherit the Earldom), by his second wife, Lady Beatrix de Warren, of Sir Hugh de Burgh, 'one of the most eminent and conspicious nobles of his time'. a grandson of William de Moreton, Earl of Cornwall, whose eyles wre put out by order of Henry II., because he led a rebellion." (MCB, 1915, p. 111). He was married to Cecily De BALIOL.
