If we can depend on "reliable" researchers,and books, including the BIBLE, I trace my family to ADAM & EVE. 'BAOTH received Scythia from JAPHET, son of Noah--' According to YOUR FAMILY TREE, Jordan & Kimball, p.23. Although I did not find Japhet as direct son of NOAH, the Bible spoke of male descendants as being claimed as sons, WHEREAS today we would refer to them as grandsons.
From there I traced N0AH through the Bible to ADAM & EVE and my famly to BAOTH.
