14. Augustine Williams SMITH Captain⁽³⁴⁾⁽³⁵⁾ was born in 1852.⁽³⁴⁾ He died in Dec 1913. He was buried in Belemy Church Cemetery.⁽³⁶⁾ He was married to Laura Lee HUGHES on 29 Apr 1873 in Gloucester County, VA.

15. Laura Lee HUGHES ⁽³⁶⁾ was born on 19 Aug 1852.⁽³⁷⁾⁽³⁸⁾ She died on 14 Nov 1883. She was buried in Old Stubbs Cemetary near Cappahosie. Children were:

i. Mary Linda SMITH⁽³⁹⁾ was born on 20 May 1875 in Virginia.⁽³²⁾⁽⁴⁰⁾ She died on 17 Jul 1934.⁽³²⁾ She was buried in Forrest Hill Cemetery, Nashville, NC.
7 ii. Frances Earl (Fannie) SMITH.
iii. Peter William (Bubba) SMITH⁽³⁶⁾.
iv. Nettie Lee SMITH⁽³⁶⁾.
