3. ARCHIBALD4 MCNEIL II (ARCHIBALD3, CHARLES2, POSSIBLY ARCHIBALD1) was born September 20, 1736 in Branford, Connecticut, and died Bef. July 03, 1782 in Milford, Connecticut. He married SARAH CLARK May 02, 1758 in New Haven, Connecticut, daughter of WILLIAM CLARK and HANNAH PECK. She was born January 22, 1742 in Lyme, New London, Conn, and died March 1821 in Oxford, Connecticut.

RCHIBALD MCNEIL II:
      Archibald II lived in New Haven and Milford, Connecticut, and was a large property owner. On July 3, 1776, he enlisted in the Continental Forces. He had previous service as an officer in the 13th Company, Captain Ephraim Preston commanding, of Colonel Lyman's Regiment, Colony of Connecticut, in the French-Indian War, 1755-1757.

He married LUCINA STONE18,19,20 January 04, 1776 in Litchfield, Connecticut, daughter of BERIAH STONE and DEIDAMIA SMITH. She was born August 14, 1755 in Litchfield, Connecticut20, and died July 17, 1820 in Chenango Point, now Binghamton, New York20.

AMUEL MCNEIL:
Samuel and his wife, Lucina Stone McNeil, are both buried at Chenango Point, New York, which was a small settlement near the present town of Binghamton, New York, but which no longer exists by that name. There is currently a cemetery in Broome County, New York, named Chenango Valley Cemetery.
Most of the information we have on Samuel McNeil's children comes from a Page from his family Bible, which was copied in the 1930's, by Fred McNeil. At that time, the Bible was in the possession of his cousin, Sarah Beebe McNeil Sullivan.
