Served churches in Montana & Wyoming Al worked for James Everson Kongable during the time he was going to Iowa Weslyan before he became a minister. He married Eldora, a widow with three children, and accepted them as his own.

Eldora does live here, usually. She broke her arm(?) last winter and has
been living with a relative in Thermopolis. She does not attend church
here (although my husband has welcomed her), because one former minister
felt Al was interferring (that minister is a problem in every church she
serves). Since Al had long since been gone from this church, I can't
imagine he would have been much of a problem. But even after Al died,
Eldora does not want to return. Dave keeps in touch with her, and carolers
go to her house every year, she's invited to everything, and on the mailing
list.

I have yet to meet her. First with teaching and then with illness, I have
not been able to visit much. I also don't want to interfere with Dave's
ministry.

It is a small world!
