1767, p. 191, No. 26 - This is an interesting record. The first
record, below, is scratched out, with the second record, below,
beneath it. Apparently, Johannes Römer and his daughter Anna Maria
presented the child Anna Dorothea for baptism. The Pfarrer
misunderstood their relationship, assumed Anna Maria to be Johannes'
wife. Shortly thereafter, however, the minister learned that Anna
Dorothea was the illegitimate child of Johannes' daughter, Anna Maria.
The father of the child is not indicated, but the place of
impregnation is.
