Said to be married but childless (by Kathe Beutler)
According to Kaethe Beutler:

The youngest brother of my grandmother was Uncle Siegfried. He
Emigrated to the United States as a young man and settled in Baltimore. He
was married to a German. I assume that he met her there. They had one son,
Eddy, who married an American. They did not get rich, but they made a
pretty good living. Uncle Siegfried came to Berlin to visit with his sister
almost every year, and I remember him very well. He was an interesting,
very lively person. He paid a lot of attention to us children, brought always
gifts to all the grandchildren of his sister (his son did not have any
children). He brought us the Pit game, the one which I still have. He
taught us to dance and to sing the Washington Post and played the melody
on the piano. He played everything without any music. I think he could not
read music. He made little jokes playing the waltz from the opera Faust
with his fist, or rather the knuckles.
Sometimes his wife came along, but mostly he came alone. Once his
son Eddy came with his wife, but they were strangers. As far as we found
out, Uncle Siegfried died a year or two after my grandmother died, about in
the year 1913. During World War I several members of our family tried to
cantact his son Eddy, but nobody ever received an answer, and also after the
war was over there was no communication. Thus, we do not know what
happened to him.

According to other information:

Siegfried Frank was shipped off to America as a teenager for stealing
a few coins from the shops where he worked. He lived in Baltimore, and
returned on a visit about 1904.
