2539. Henry Harrison DENTON was born in 1778 in Garrard County, Kentucky. He died in 1830. Henry was probably named in honor of his father's friendship with Burr
Harrison.

He was married to Martha LUSKE on 2 May 1807 in Garrard County, Kentucky. Henry Harrison DENTON and Martha LUSKE had the following children:

3358 v. Liberty DENTON was born in 1812.
3359 vi. Judge Dudley H. DENTON was born on 4 Apr 1814 in Garrard County, Kentucky. He died on 25 Jun 1901 in Somerset, Pulaski County, Kentucky. Judge Denton was a lawyer for forty years, was county attorney of Garrard CO. He was three times elected to county attorney for Pulaski County, once before the Civil War and twice after and was county judge of Pulaski County in 1858. He organized a company in the Third Kentucky Federal Infantry of which he was captain, but he only served in the war a short time until he returned to Kentucky and was made provost marshall of Wayne County. He retired from practice in 1876 and resided on his farm three miles from Somerset. He was a Presbyterian as well as a Mason.
3360 vii. Mary DENTON was born in 1817.
3361 viii. Margaret DENTON was born in 1820.
