2534. Jacob DENTON was born in 1761 in Shenandoah County, Virginia. He died on 10 Jan 1840 in Jefferson County, Tennessee. This line was contributed by Steven M. Manning, Omaha, NE.

He was married to Sarah ROBINSON (daughter of Joel ROBINSON and Margaret DENTON) in 1794. Sarah ROBINSON was born in 1778. She died in 1840. Sarah ROBINSON was the sister of George Robinson. She was one of his heirs. Her heirs sold land in Garrard Co, KY, in two deeds, which listed her heirs. Jacob DENTON and Sarah ROBINSON had the following children:

3332 v. Mary DENTON was born in 1805.
3333 vi. Priscilla DENTON was born on 6 Sep 1808 in Jefferson County, Tennessee. She died on 14 Jun 1880. She was buried in Jefferson County, Tennessee.
3334 vii. Joel Robinson DENTON was born on 25 Aug 1810 in Jefferson County, Tennessee. He died in 1840 in Jefferson County, Tennessee.
