7502. Garvin WALDROP was born on 9 Jul 1849. He died on 24 Jun 1901 in Greenville, Greenville County, South Carolina. He was buried in Mt. Lebonon Baptist Church Cemetery. Re: Garvin Waldrop, all I have is from Jan Dawson, quote " It seems that the 1850 census of Greenville County, T.W " Tilman " Waldrup and two of his brothers, A. Waldrop and H. Waldrup " note spelling " their wives and children, lived in their ind ividual houses on the farm of Thomas Babb in Greenville County.-not in his household but on his property. Especially strange was that Tilman had inherited his own property in Greenville from a man named Ramsey, relationship unknown. Ten years late r, Garvin Waldrop , who was enumerated in 1850 as the son of the above A. Waldrop, was living in the household of Thomas Babb."
