1959: Funeral services for Edgar Allen Gildersleeve who was killed Saturday
morning, January 24, 1958 (should be 1959), were held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the
Bollman Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John Munsey officiating. Mrs. A. L.
Kintner was organist, and the Enterprise Lodge No. 153 IOOF had charge of the
committal service.
Mr. Gildersleeve, who had lived in Wallowa county for the past forty years
was born at LaCrosse, Wash., January 31, 1909 --- He was employed by Wallowa
county as bridge foreman. He was a member of Enterprise Lodge No. 153 IOOF. --

He was married to Leona Elizabeth Thornburg on 29 Jul 1932 in Enterprise, Wallowa, OR. Leona Elizabeth Thornburg ⁽¹³⁾ was born on 25 Feb 1913 in Enterprise, Wallowa Co., OR. Edgar Allen Gildersleeve and Leona Elizabeth Thornburg had the following children:
