He died on 8 Apr 1957 in Buchanan, , Michigan, USA.⁽⁶⁹⁾

The following information is taken from "A Gregory Family in America" by Forest F. Reed (1944)

"Tom Gregory was born April 3, 1875. After finishing school he taught for several years in Itawamba County. In 1910 he was married to Nettie McFadden also of Itawamba County who was born November 23, 1890. They lived at Roseland, Arkansas, in Mississippi County. This section of northeast Arkansas contains some of the most fertile farm land in America."

Thomas Gregory's obituary from The South Bend Tribune, South Bend, Ind., April 8, 1957 reads:

THOMAS GREGORY, SR.
Three Oaks, April 9 - Thomas Henry Gregory, Sr., 82, of 105 Maple St., died at 11:25 a.m. Monday in the Barrett Rest home, Buchanan, where he had been a patient two and a half years.
He had been in ill health four years and before entering the Barrett Rest home had been a patient in the Berrien County hospital, Berrien Center.
He was born April 3, 1875 on Tupelo, Miss., and on Dec 10, 1910 married in Mississippi Miss Nettie McFadden. The couple had lived in the Galien and Three Oaks area for the past 12 years.
Mr. Gregory was a retired school teacher. He is survived by his wife; five sons, Grady of Manila, Ark.; Floyd of Galien, Thomas of LaPorte, Ind., Earl and Dennis, both of Three Oaks; seven daughters, Mrs. Ivo Tucker, Mrs. John Robinson and Mrs. Belva Daniel, all of Galien, Mrs. L.C. Cagle of Boonesville, Miss., Mrs. Nelson Neeley of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Mrs. Clyde Daniel of New Troy and Mrs. James Fox of Three Oaks; 34 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; two brothers, George Gregory of Fulton Miss., and William Gregory of Little Rock, Ark.

He was married to Saphrona Arnettie (Nettie) MCFADDEN on 3 Dec 1910 in Fulton, Itawamba, Mississippi, USA.⁽⁷²⁾ Saphrona Arnettie (Nettie) MCFADDEN ⁽⁷³⁾ was born on 23 Nov 1890 in Fulton, Itawamba, Mississippi, USA. She was buried in Aug 1974 in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Three Oaks, Berrien, Michigan, USA.
She died on 7 Aug 1974 in Michigan City, LaPorte, Indiana, USA.
Her obituary (unknown paper) reads:

"MRS. ARNETTIE GREGORY

Galien - Mrs. Arnettie McFadden Gregory, 84, of 203 Eddy St., died at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday in St. Anthony Hospital at Michigan City after a brief illness. She was born Nov. 23, 1890, in Fulton Miss., and had lived 13 years in Galien, coming from Three Oaks. She was married Dec 10, 1910 in Fulton to Thomas Gregory who died in 1957.
Surviving are seven daughters, Mrs. Irene Tucker and Mrs. Bernice Robinson, both of Galien, Mrs. Flora Cagel of Booneville, Miss., Mrs. Blanche Daniel of New Troy, Mrs. Hazel Neely of Albuquerque, N. Mex., Mrs. Belva Daniel of Three Oaks, and Mrs. Helen Fox of Shelby, Mich.; four sons, Floyd and Thomas, both of Galien, and Earl and Grady, both of Marion, Ark.; 43 grandchildren, and 50 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday in the New Buffalo Bible Baptist Church, with Rev. Marion Fast, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Three Oaks. Friends may call from 7 p.m. today until noon Friday in the Connelly-Noble Funeral Home, Galien."
