There is a land purchase in Douglas Co. records that Malinda Ratledge
purchased 35 acres of the NW 4 of SW 4, in Sec. 4, Twp 25, Rng 17. The
date is Mar 10, 1887 when she would have been 77 years old. This land
is off the road that leads to the Johnson Cemetary and nearby that of
William Adams farm. There is a picture of Malinda Johnson Ratledge
that shows her to be a very spry looking little old lady. Parents: John Johnson and Priscilla Unknown.
