Community Hospital.

Mrs. Amyx was born March 28, 1910, in Aubrey. She was a homemaker.

Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, in Coker Funeral Chapel in Sanger with Dr. E.L. McNeal
officiating. Burial will be in Bolivar Cemetery, Bolivar.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight, Wednesday, Feb. 23, at the funeral home.

Survivors include three daughters, Rosene Sebastian of Sanger, Shirlene Hicks of Jacksboro and
Cherry Baird of Sanger; two sons, Lee Amyx Jr. of Richardson and Don Amyx of Denton; 14
grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Her parents, Thomas and Nancy Lee Booe, and a son, Thomas Amyx, are deceased. Parents: Thomas Franklin Booe and Nancy L. Cagle.

Children were: Cherry Ann Anyx , Thomas Eugene Coy Anyx.

Philadelphia passenger record of Strasburgers Vol. 1 page 233. This
record is as follows: Palantines imported in the "Snow Fox" Charles
Ware Commande from Rotterdam but last from Plymouth in old England.

Phillip Jacob and his family arrived in Philadelphia on October 12,
1738 aboard the Snow Fox, a type of two-masted sailing vessel common
in the 18th century. They remained in Pennsylvania for sometime and
became a part of the Pennsylvania Dutch Society. Their son,
Christopher Booe, left Pennsylvania and was in Rowan County, North
Carolina by 1756.
