growth of all crops usually raised in Texas. He was a Master Mason
and a strict member of the Christiasn Church. His large heartedness
and charitable disposition made him hosts of warm friends and he was
respected in the comunity as a man of brains and great force of
character. His success in business is due to his energy, enterprise
and judgment. His marriage to Mary Martha Taylor was recorde in
Marriage Record #1, Page 65, Delta Co. They were married by Dr.

1870. She said that they entered into a contract to marry on October
24, 1868. She waited at her father's house in Kenton County all day.
