ground when the Nantahala Dam was built and this was when he broke his
leg; he got it caught in the Dicks Creek tunnel. He went 2 hours
before the got him out. The doctor set it and grafted two sheep bones
in it and later removed the pin. While in the arm in Italy, he served
in the medics under General Geroge patton himself, as Sams said "Old
