was born on 19 Jul 1908 in BRUSH HILL, McINTOSH CO., OKLA.. He died on
29 Mar 1988 in PHOENIX, ARIZONA. Robert Lee (Bob) Brandon grew up in McIntosh
Co. Oklahoma, but no doubt the circumstances of the national depression and lack
of employment opportunities at home played a part in his dicision to venture
North to find work at the Chicago Worlds Fair
While there he met and married Dorothy Hodges in 1936 . He was at one time head
of the men's clothing department of the large Sears Roebuck Store there.
Later Bob went into business with his own Clothing Store before selling and investing
in a successful Dry Cleaning business in Cleveland, Ohio.
In the late 1950's Bob and Dorothy made the dicision to get away from the cold
winters there and retire in Arizona. Robert Jr. had already married there and
did not come with the rest of the family . Richard, John , Jerry and Kathy finished
their education in Arizona and have now families of their own.
Bob passed away on March 29, 1988 in Phoenix, Az. and is buried in Scottsdale,
Arizona Dorothy still lives there in Scottsdale.
He was married to DOROTHY
MARIE HODGES in 1936 in CHICAGO, ILLINOIS. ROBERT LEE BRANDON
and DOROTHY MARIE HODGES had the following children:
