He was buried on 28 Jul 1948 in Elmlawn Memorial Gardens, Tonawanda, NY.⁽¹⁹⁸⁾ Wallace's ashes were kept in his wife's home after his death on the mantle, and they were buried together upon her death. He was also known as Wallace Nicholas Vary OLVER. Granddaughter Minnie gave this name for him. However, his marriage license shows Walter. He was American. He was also known as Wally, Uncle Wally. Some connection is said to exist with Lord and Lady Tremain of Plymouth, England. Dozens of Olvers from Cornwall England exist in LDS database. Supposedly, there is property in England belonging to his family, "Lambeth Walk".

He was married to Sarah M. HURST on 14 Aug 1881 in Buffalo, Erie Cnty, NY.⁽¹⁸⁵⁾ Witnesses were Samuel Olver and Emma Hurst. Wallace and his wife are shown as married 18 years in 1900.

13. Sarah M. HURST⁽⁷⁵⁾⁽¹⁹⁹⁾ was born on 25 Feb 1861 in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.⁽⁷⁵⁾ ⁽²⁰⁰⁾⁽¹⁸⁵⁾⁽²⁰¹⁾⁽²⁰²⁾⁽²⁰³⁾ She immigrated in 1864 to from Canada to U.S..⁽¹⁸²⁾ ⁽²⁰⁴⁾ Sarah would have immigrated with her sister Emma, who is shown as immigrating in 1864. Sarah is shown as a naturalized citizen in the 1920 census. She resided at 230 Thirteenth Street, Buffalo NY on 1 Sep 1882 in Buffalo, Erie Cnty, NY.⁽⁷⁶⁾ She resided at 458 Grant St, Buffalo NY on 1 Jun 1905 in Buffalo, Erie Cnty, NY.⁽⁷⁹⁾ She resided at 390 Ward Road, N.
