She willed her daughter Mercy Wright "the other half of that Cloth that
is sent to the Weavers, and the Serdge her husband sent me for a
Waistcoate, one pair of sheetes, one pillow-beer, one shift, one coate."
She worked hard with her children (eight daughters) to get out of debt.
In 1664 she and Widow M. Bliss were admitted as freemen, the only women
thus admitted. There is a tradition that in England she was laid out for
dead, put in her coffin, but revived at her funeral, came to New England
and had 11 children, all of whom lived to rear large families. Parents: Richard Marche and Johane Martyn.
