Served in both French and Indian, and Revolutionary Wars. Died ?, age 87." At some point in his life he moved to N.Y. State and lived near Mt. McIntyre, Essex Co., N.Y.

Served in Revolution April 1778 to May 4, 1778 in Capt. Nathan Smith's Company. 1781 in Capt. Underhill's Co. " in defence of the frontier state of Vermont". His name is on the Rev. War monument at Manchester, Vt. along with his brothers Benjamin and Richard.

Appears in 1790 cencus at Willsboro, Clinton Co., N.Y. [Willsboro is today in Essex Co., N.Y.] with 2 males over 16; 3 females.
