Philip, Sr. was deported from Scotland with his brothers Micum [Malcolm], and Robert by Oliver Cromwell.

Malcolm went to York, Maine; Philip to Charlton, Mass.; and Robert to Lynn Iron Works, Essex Co., Mass.

Thomas, son of Philip, has his line traced in New England Genealogy Vol. 2, pg. 985. [R.929-1 N44C at Syracuse Public Library].
