Not yet sure of her ancestry or siblings. they are entered here only as possibilities for now, but I think they are the right people. "Age 73 at death". From grandma's little book. McIntyre Genealogy says she was born about 1816. I'll stick with grandma's info in this case.

Need to check Probate Records in Onondaga Co. Court House for possible info on Nelson McIntyre and Mary Rogers' families.

The following are notes taken at the Onondaga County Hist. Soc. in Syracuse in May of 1996.

A.H. Rogers d. 2-12-1862, age 39, Elbridge.

"Daniel Rogers, formerly of Jordan, has been left $240,000. by his grandfather in Ireland." news, 12-16-1859.

"James Roger[s] appointed postmaster in Jordan 3-5-1853."

"Volney Rogers age 22 m. 4-17-1847 ___ White age 15, both from Jordan."

"William C. Rogers m. in Jordan to C. Julia Knowlton 9-3-1862."

Nelson and Mary [Rogers] McIntyre lived next door to an Abel and Annie Rogers and their son Theodore when the 1855 cencus was taken. Abel was a farmer born in Onondaga County, and was age 53, [b. abt. 1802]. Annie was from Orange Co., and was age 52, [b. abt 1803]. Theodore was age 21, [b. abt 1834]. Abel was perhaps the son of another Abel who appears in the 1820 cencus.

1820 cencus: Abel Rogers, Abraham Rogers, and Elisha Rogers. Elisha appears in this one cencus only, no others. Perhaps he was father of Abel and Abraham and had died.

1855 cencus: Benjamin H. Rogers, age 19, from Onondaga. Mary [wife], age 26, from Jefferson Co. Harriet, age 1, from Onondaga.

1855 cencus: H. Rogers, age 26, farmer from Onondaga. Charity [wife], age 32, from Onondaga. Catherine A. J., age 6. Orad [or Oreal], age 3. Phoebe Ann, age 4 mo.

In 1807 there was Abraham, Isaac, and Moses Rogers all living in Town of Camillus which at that time included Elbridge and Van Buren.

In Maple Grove Cem., Jordan, N.Y. : Elizabeth B. Rogers 1830-1910; Reverend E. A. Rogers, 1859-1944; Sara E. Rogers, 1856-1940. All buried in a row next to each other. Parents: Abram Rogers and Mary.
