!Abraham was a prominent Attorney for the Simsbury Copper Mines. He probably
came from Holland. No proof on this available. He owned a great deal of land
in Simsbury from the land records there. This is how I found out that Martha
married him.

!There is also a land record for Abraham and Martha, residing at New Rochelle,
Westchester, NY in July 1724. Then in Sept. of 1724, they show up in
Simsbury, Hartford, Conn., buying land. Martha was selling land there in 1720
as "Martha Ladue". This shows that Abraham and Martha must have married
between 1720 and 1724, probably at New Rochelle.

!DEATH: Tombstone Inscription, Hop Meadow Cemetary, Simsbury, Hartford,
CT. A will, dated 2 Mar 1735, is also available in the probate
records for Simsbury (page 168). He said he had no heirs of his own. He left
his entire estate to his beloved wife Martha.
