YOUNGBLOODS SIGNED A PETITION PROTESTING CORRUPTION AND
HIGH TAXES.

JAMES WAS LATER A SOLDIER IN THE AMERICAN CAUSE DURING THE
REVOLUTION , SERVING SEVERAL HITHCES IN THE NORTH CAROLINA
MILITIA AND PARTICIPATED IN THE BATTLE OF CAMDEN ON AUG. 16, 1780.
