bullet Isaac* Clute(109) was born before 15 Mar 1756 in Schenectady, N.Y.. He died on 27 Jun 1831 in Camillus, N.Y., bur. Oswego Bitter Cem., Camillus. Baptized on Mar. 15, 1756. Will made May 14, 1831, proved Mar. 6, 1833.

His tombstone reads: "In memory of Isaac Clute [who was a true Patriot in the Revolution fought under Gates at Saratoga] died June 27, 1831 in the 81st year of his age". The stone existed in 1996 and was in good shape even though the rest of the cemetary was pretty shabby. It was mowed however. The cemetary is located on the east side of Bennett's Corners Rd. Between Bitters Rd. and Hall Rd. in the Town of Camillus, Onondaga County, N.Y. His tombstone is on the very south edge of the cemetary, almost as far to the east as you can go. Perhaps 50 feet or so from the east edge of the cemetary. There are several other stones near his forming a group. No other Clutes though.
